This statement describes the privacy practices for Visiotherapy Design
Studios' web site.
Periodically Visiotherapy Design Studios may record operational information
generated by our web server while delivering web pages to users who visit
our site. This operational information may be used for aggregate statistical
analysis and site customization. It is data that we can gather about the
user without asking them. This aggregate statistical analysis is limited
to depicting trends based on information as a whole – it is not
part of an effort to identify the individual identity of web site visitors.
Our site invites email for site feedback, business development, press
inquiries, and human resources inquiries. Other than human resource information
– which is never willfully disclosed by Visiotherapy Design Studio
-- information gained from these emails may be shared with reputable third-party
companies.
IP addresses are logged to track user sessions. An IP address is a unique
numerical address used to route data to and from your computer on the
Internet. When we record an IP address, we associate a visit or series
of visits to each unique IP address. This allows Visiotherapy Design Studios
to collect a visitor's domain name (e.g. whether the user is logged on
from abc.com, xyz.net, 123.edu, etc.), referral data (e.g. the last URL
a user visited prior to clicking to Visiotherapy design studios), as well
as browser and platform type (e.g., a Netscape browser on a Macintosh
computer). We may also include a visitor's activity into an overall analysis
of activity at our site (e.g., reporting where traffic originates and
how it flows within our site). None of the foregoing would allow either
Visiotherapy Design Studios or a third party to identify you or contact
you.
Visiotherapy Design Studios' web site uses links that allow visitors to
contact us via email for a variety of purposes. Except for HR information,
we may elect to save such information, share it with third parties, or
discard it entirely. Human resource information will not be shared with
a third party without the express consent of the individual.
By visiting Visiotherapy Design Studios' website you agree to allow Visiotherapy
Design Studios to collect and use the information described above for
the purposes and in the manner described above.
Fair Information Policy
It is the policy and practice of Visiotherapy Design Studios to maintain
the security and confidentiality of the information it obtains from clients
or for the benefit of clients and to help clients to ensure privacy protection.
Visiotherapy Design Studios resolve is to:
* Comply with all applicable provincial laws and regulations and to comply
with prevailing industry ethical standards, in Canada and elsewhere. Visiotherapy
Design Studios monitors privacy issues on a regular basis to assure that
changes in legislation, regulation, and self-regulation/peer-regulation
are included in this policy and are communicated to and understood by
Visiotherapy Design Studios' employees.
* Train employees to support Visiotherapy Design Studios Fair Information
Policy. Visiotherapy Design Studios will ensure that appropriate employees
recognize and proactively manage consumer privacy sensitivities.
* Ensure that information collected is pertinent to marketing and analytic
purposes. Visiotherapy Design Studios assists clients in choosing responsible
data sources and recommends those demographic data elements necessary
for their marketing objectives.
* Apply security measures to safeguard data from unauthorized access,
use, or disclosure.
